Hawk Hollow Farm is a small, private facility nestled in the hills of Central New York. The facility sits atop the highest point in the area offering absolutely stunning views of the countryside.
We have numerous four-legged, winged, and finned residents, many of whom are pictured on our site.
We currently offer two barns and an indoor arena, along with a variety of storage buildings to accommodate hay, machinery etc. Much of our property is divided pasture and horses spend as much time outside as weather permits.
Our Breeding Philosophy
Our breed philosophy is drawn from the Hanoverian Verband:
The breeding aim is the Hanoverian:
"... a rideable, noble, big framed and correct warmblood horse, which, on the basis of its natural abilities, its temperament and character is suitable as a performance horse as well as a pleasure horse."
On this basis the Verband strives for the breeding of talented sport horses for the disciplines: dressage, show-jumping, eventing, driving.
We work to provide a high quality, highly trainable horse. The kind of horse we would want for ourselves. We limit our yearly breeding to maintain our standards. Our young horses are shown extensively in hand both locally and regionally for life experience. The young horses under saddle attend clinics, schooling and recognized shows depending on ability and maturity.
If you see a horse on our site that is of interest please contact us for further information. Along with our yearly foal crop we offer horses at various levels of training and performance. Please give us a call, we may have what you are looking for.
We are located about 45 minutes from the Syracuse International Airport, and there are are numerous hotels, restaurants and shopping opportunities available in and around the greater Syracuse metropolitan area.
